I really like the Lotus Bumz diaper I've been trying out! There aren't really any exciting bells and whistles on it, but it's soft and cute, fits well, and hasn't leaked--even after overnight!
These diapers cost between $12.97 (for white) and $16.97 (for prints) each. Their best deal per diaper is the "Mystery 6 pack bundle," which comes out to only $11.67 per diaper.
If you would like to purchase some Lotus Bumz diapers, I have a coupon code for you! Just use CONTEMPLATE15 to get 15% off your next order! (expires 6/1)

Now for the review and giveaway:
Here is the outside of the "StarButts" diaper I received. Isn't it cute!?
The inside of the diaper is nice and soft, and I like the placement of the snaps.
Look how great it fits! This diaper is definitely one of our most comfy ones. Not too tight, not too loose.
Here's the front of the diaper. If you find the picture a bit blurry, that's because little Love Bug here doesn't understand the phrase "please sit still!"
Lotus Bumz is going to give one of my readers a a Lotus Bumz diaper of their own in either a girl or a boy color/print!

I have not done mama cloth but am currently checking in to it. I live not too far from the owner of The Green Baby Store, and we may have a Green party where we check out mama cloth, diva cups, etc. The owl prints are cute!
ReplyDeleteI have not tried it yet, but I do have 3 PinkDaisy pads. I haven't gotten to try them because I've had no AF since I got pregnant, actually, but I will be either using them or a cup. I haven't purchased a cup yet.
ReplyDeleteI don't use mama cloth yet, but I'm looking into it, along with the diva cup and lunette cups.
ReplyDeleteI don't... I haven't been able to get over the ick factor :( I know, I know, I get poop on my hands and/or put my hands in our toilet on a daily basis, but I'm struggling with this one!
ReplyDeleteThere's no ick factor! I keep a container in the bathroom (old ceramic crock pot) and fill it with water and a few shakes of baking soda. I put the used pads in the container of water, pushed face down so they get wet. Whenever I have some clothes to wash (cold or warm, any color) I dump the contents of the container into the wash and then rinse out the container. No stains, no mess. Easy peasy! Easier than cloth diapering!
DeleteI don't use mam cloth because I generally use tampons.
ReplyDeleteI am familiar with mamas cloth but, have also not been able to get over the ick factor. Also, I question how well they would be able to clean....

DeleteI have just starting using mama cloth and really love it. It really isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
ReplyDeleteActually, every cycle, I get a little bit closer to going for it! I just hate them being called "mama cloth". What, if you're not a mom, you're not allowed to use them?
ReplyDeleteHa! My guess is the origin of that title comes from the fact that Mamas were using cloth for their babies and then began to get jealous... Thus, the "Mama cloth."
DeletePerhaps single ladies were not exposed to cloth diapering as much, therefore not having as much an opportunity to become jealous.
;)
I do not use Mama Cloth. As for "these", I use them only from another company. I'm so sad that i didn't find them years and years and years ago.

I don't use mama cloth....not sure yet what I think about it. Am currently researching

DeleteI haven't used mama cloth yet. But I just got a sewing machine off of freecycle. I need to get a foot for it, but then I will try and make my own. I also just won a cup that I'm going to be trying out....but I have to wait until the end of July to try it, because I'm on seasonique and don't get a full period until the end of my three month pill pack! After my sewing skills are firmly in place though, I promised my daughter that we would make her some mama cloth! She's excited to help pick out fabric LOL
ReplyDeleteno mama cloth for me, i use the divacup though :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes I use momma cloth like when I'm post partum and my lady cup shouldn't be used or I forget to boil it in time. But in general I don't. I like it for hot weather. The disposable pads just stick to your rear end (as I imagine they do to my sons' as well). I like the pads you linked.
ReplyDeleteI don't (still BFing) . I'm more partial to tampons...I think pads are very bulky!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried mama cloths yet. Still BF, so maybe in the future. Thinking of getting a cup, though.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried mama cloth yet. I had never heard of them until I started cloth diapering. I am still breastfeeding, only would have had a use for them one time and now I'm pregnant again. I will be reviewing some for my blog when the baby arrives. These are cute. I like the patterns.
ReplyDeleteI do not use mama cloth, I just learned about mama cloth a couple of months ago and I'm still not sure how I feel about it :/

DeleteI use menstrual cups more than mama cloth. And my favorite print shown is the teal flowers.

I don't. I am interested in Mama cloth, but it seems kind of yucky. I will have to think about it.
